Not really. The importance of Iowa is often overstated, lots of candidates have won the Iowan caucuses and gone on to lose their party’s nomination. Now, losing both Iowa and New Hampshire, taken together, that has a serious impact, but Iowa by itself isn’t necessarily that significant.

Tonight, I ‘caucused’, I didn’t vote in a general election.
There is a distinct and clear difference, and I would suggest getting much more familiar with civics before the general election.
The field of candidates has to be narrowed to fewer candidates for this democratic republic. This happens to be the beginning of that process.
